About us


We are a small family business that has the desire
to enhance the products of nature, such as the flower of
sea salt.
Born from a project of illusion and enthusiasm, it all
started 3 years ago when we discovered the great properties
of this 100% natural salt, collected manually
first as a hobby until we decided its commercialization.

Salt formation


The formation of this salt is a totally natural process. The characteristics of the metamorphic rocks (highly affected by the erosive action of the water and strong wind) that are part of certain reefs in the Amunt sea area, combined with the climate of this area, is the basis of the formation of this salt so specific and special.

How does the salt arrive


The salt arrives to these rocks (schists in geological terms) directly (waves) or indirectly (marine humidity) and is deposited in the “taffoni” or holes (also alveoli) characteristic of these rocks; the sun and the tramontana are in charge of vaporizing this taffoni seawater, making the formation of salt crystals with a unique taste and highly appreciated gastronomiacally.
